A Bit About Us
The Norfolk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was established in 1948 by a group of mothers in the Hampton Roads area. The goals of the founders of the Norfolk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. remain relevant in today's world. This mother's organization works on behalf of children from pre-school through high school to be sure our youth are ready for the real world. The Norfolk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America seeks to socially, culturally, and educationally equip today's youth, empower them with a sense of belonging and service, and steady them with spiritual renewal and extended family bonds. Through the activities for each grade group, the youth make lifelong friends and develop a frame of reference that supports positive values that help build strong families.
Membership in the Norfolk Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is only obtained by invitation and sponsorship from one of our current chapter members. Legacy and transfer memberships are exceptions. Prospective mothers must have children between the ages of 2-19 years and reside within current chapter boundaries.
